Biography
Blaine began playing guitar and singing at the age of 10. His father always played, which became Blaine's major influence.
After graduating from James Martin High School, Blaine began playing the Texas Opry circuit while attending the University of Texas at Arlington. He toured the Oprys for about 2 years and then started his own band, which played all the local country music bars in the DFW area.
Blaine played the local scene for a while but soon spread his territory to Oklahoma, Tennessee and Arkansas. Blaine was playing over 200 dates a year.
That summer, Blaine went to Nashville for his first recording project. He cut 4 songs which resulted in some, but not enough, attention for the “Big Deal”. After Blaine’s stint in Nashville, he took the band back on the road playing clubs, parties, galas, and fairs all across the southwest.
Presently, Blaine is touring to support his self titled new album! The single, "At the Corner of Love and Life," is climbing the Texas music charts. The album was produced by Ron Stafford and released by Aaron Ave Records. Blaine Gray is the new sound of Traditional Country Music.
